Teaching with GenAI: Ethics, Practice, and Possibility in K–12 Education

Students in a technology class

As part of the 2025 MET Summer Institute on ethical and professional use of generative AI in teaching and learning, we invite educators, students, and the broader community to an open speaker session exploring the ethical and professional use of generative AI (GenAI) in teaching and learning.

Our featured speaker, Cari Wilson, is the District Vice Principal of Innovation and Technology with West Vancouver Schools and the facilitator of the AI in K–12 Education: Classrooms of the Future program. With over 25 years of classroom experience, Cari brings a unique blend of practical expertise and visionary leadership to help educators navigate the promises and challenges of AI-enhanced teaching.
