MET Conference & Hackathon
June 6–7, 2026 | Online | 1:00–4:00 PM PST
Wrap up the academic year by connecting with your MET community. Over two days, we’re coming together online to share ideas, build something new, and celebrate the incredible work happening across the program.
Participate in the Event
Whether you want to present your work or build something new with peers, we’d love for you to join in.
Submission deadline for conference presentations: April 26
Saturday, June 6 — MET Conference
Present a project — a research study, design project, learning design, digital artifact, creative piece, or anything in between.
Presentations are six minutes or less, keeping things focused and engaging. The goal is participation, community, and knowledge sharing. We hope to see you there!
Sunday, June 7 — Hackathon
Team up, or sign up solo and get matched, for a fast, fun, three-hour build session.
You’ll receive a prompt at the start and have two hours to prototype something together. Teams share their creations at the end, and prizes will be awarded.
Expect experimentation, collaboration, and a good time.
Whether you come to present, build, watch, or just hang out, we’d love to see you there.
This is your community. Come celebrate it.
