“Soon after becoming a K-12 teacher, I discovered my interest in technology and learning. This led to both an MA and PhD in the field of educational technology and learning design. The constantly evolving field has allowed me to design and research a range of areas such as game-based learning, intergenerational learning, digital storytelling, computer-supported collaborative learning, and learning analytics. Being a part of the MET community is a wonderful place to continue to explore innovative topics and approaches to educational technology with passionate learners, faculty, staff, and those outside the university. Every student brings a unique perspective and approach to the topics covered, and I enjoy being a part of their learning journey.”
