A Summer Institute on Virtual Reality

In the summer of 2018, MET students had the opportunity to enroll in an in person summer course entitled Virtual Reality: Viewpoints on a New Medium offered experimentally by the Faculty of Education as undergraduate course EDUC 490V. This 3 credit, one week intensive course had students working in groups to produce their own 360º video projects. The results, shared at a Friday evening gala reception were impressive. If you are interested in viewing the projects and learning more about this courese, watch instructor, Kyle Stooshnov shared his reflections in the  August 13th edition of ‘This Week in Education’.

Watch this video playlist to see the different stories that course teams created, shot and edited in 360º video, each of them exploring and expressing a point of view into virtual reality.
