2018 MET Summer Institute on Virtual Reality

In the summer of 2018, MET offered its very first Summer Institute entitled Virtual Reality: Viewpoints on a New Medium. This 3 credit, one week intensive course had students working in groups to produce their own 360º video projects. The results, shared at a Friday evening gala reception were impressive. If you are interested in viewing the projects and learning more about the Summer 2018 iteration of EDUC 490V, the instructor, Kyle Stooshnov, shared his reflections in the  August 13th edition of ‘This Week in Education’.

Watch this video playlist to see the different stories that course teams created, shot and edited in 360º video, each of them exploring and expressing a point of view into virtual reality.
