In Person Ceremony
We were able to celebrate graduation in person again at UBC’s majestic Chan Centre. Dr. Samia Khan (MET Director), Dr. Leah Macfadyen (MET Associate Director), Dr. Halimat Alabi (MET Academic Advisor), Dr. Keri Ewart (our new MET lecturer), and twelve MET graduands were present at the ceremony!

Olga Kanapelka’s Speech
Congratulations to MET grad Olga Kanapelka who was invited to address the audience to announce the Graduating Class Gift. Olga’s speech beautifully expressed the transformative process of being a graduate student, learning experiences beyond subject matter, support teams, and the sense of connection with everyone who is a part of our learning experiences at UBC.
