As part of the Anti-Racism in the EdTechnosphere Speaker Series

May 25, 2022 | 5:00-6:00pm PST

So, you think you are a Future-Ready educator – but are you EDIDAA Future-Ready?

Being a EDIDAA Future Ready educator means taking precautions to ensure that cutting-edge educational technologies do not contribute to systematic racism but instead foster equity, diversity, inclusion, decolonization, anti-racism, and accessibility. Creating an inclusive future that eliminates systemic racism requires educators to understand how biases, prejudices, and ignorance can be coded into technology and seep into your classroom. This session will prepare you to be on the lookout for techno-racism and use tools that foster inclusivity so that you can be EDIDAA future-ready.
