MET’s class of 2024 is the second-largest graduating class in the program’s history with 74 students crossing the stage at Convocation in May. Congratulations!
The MET graduate degree and certificate promote the informed use of technology to inspire, engage, and support learners both within and beyond the classroom. Since beginning instruction in 2002, the program has built a reputation for excellence among education technology programs worldwide.
As UBC’s first fully online program, MET has facilitated learning for students across 61 countries. These diverse backgrounds allow students to experience multi-national perspectives and grow in a rich learning environment. Graduates have gone on to apply their education in various fields, such as K-12 and post-secondary education in Canadian and international schools, libraries and museums, film and media, and government departments.
Graduation marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in the lives of students. We are grateful for the diligence, dedication and enthusiasm students have shown throughout their studies and wish them luck in future learning and instruction.
